My Work!
As I am interested in video editing and getting into that kind of field in the near future, here is most of my video assignments and from the past 3 years of college so far with more to be added in the near future. Also included is work from my Year two Group Project assignment too, hope you enjoy!
Digital Video Techniques Assignment 3:
Camera Composition & Movement
This is my third assignment for my DVT module in year 2. And an assignment I'm most proud of so far! This assignment was to show the use of our skills with a camera and video editing but to also tell a story too. I'm happy with how this turned out as I learned so much from it and I enjoyed finding a way to tell some sort of narrative and use the skills I learned too.
My process was I brain stormed Ideas I wanted to do, and the tone, when I found one I thought out the story and the story beats, then I drew some story boards for how the story would work visually. Then I filmed the the piece, taking multiple shots at multiple angles to get a desired result, then I edited it all on Premier Pro, colour grading it to give a more somber tone, transitions that were appropriate and included music to convey the tone more too.

Digital Video Techniques Assignment 2:
Camera Composition & Movement
This video is the second assignment for my DVT modules in CDM year 2, it's a compilation of different camera movements and techniques to show our understanding and skill in these areas.
I'm rather happy with how it turned out and it was fun to make, it gave me much needed hands on experience and I'm constantly improving from here.
Amazing Animals presents: Kitty
This video is the second assignment I did for my Introduction to CDM Module. We had to make an imaginary company and an advertisement for a product. The imaginary company I made was called "Amazing animals" and I intentionally made like a cheesy infomercial for a cat with some humor sprinkled throughout.

I'm happy with how this video came out and it shows that my skills have improved over time too!
Group Project Final Presentation
This video is a final presentation for my Group Project, it shows my contributions to the project and that I can work in a production environment with other people.
My contributions in semester 1 was working on secondary secondary research with another colleague of mine on our proposed medium and on the theme of our project too.
My contributions in semester 2 was being script editor of our script and helping to create part of our website with the same colleague I did the research with in semester 1.
This experience overall showed me what production was like, how to work with others, to be flexible and adapt to new things. Which is helpful for the line of work I hope to join.
